Is packaging just a conventional shell for a gift or purchase? Or is it that special layer that prolongs the fleeting moment of receiving something new? We were inspired by its emotional meaning — the desire to capture the magic of the moment: a sense of celebration, anticipation, delight, and tender gratitude.
The collection reflects two “states” of paper. The wrapped gift — objects that resemble presents never to be unwrapped: permanently fused with their “paper,” frozen in porcelain and metal. Along with them, the moment of fleeting joy and wonder is also preserved.
The unwrapped gift — items made of porcelain, metal, and fabric, evoking torn and crumpled wrapping paper, just moments ago covering something long-awaited. The gift is already out of sight, leaving behind only the packaging and echoes of emotion — a true treasure in itself.
