The joint project of studio A+V and artist Katia Lyubavskaya, titled \"Winter Collection\", is inspired by the imagery of winter holidays \u2014 walks, outdoor games, and the sense of quiet seasonal coziness.\n\nThe collection features seven items: a casket designed as a snowball with a playful face; a snowman-shaped vase with interchangeable \"arms\" and \"hair\" to match the mood; candleholders that evoke warmth and homeliness, crafted in the form of melting snow under candlelight and silver tree toy; and ice floes with naive, scratch-like drawings, transformed into a metal tray and incense holders.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The items are pleasant to touch \u2014 they have a tactile quality and encourage admiration of the chaotic patterns and inscriptions on their surfaces.\n\nThis collection merges elements from Katia's projects, such as \"I Love You Snow Much\", which includes drawings resembling finger marks in snow, and \"Have An Ice Day\", featuring spontaneous illustrations etched into ice. Additionally, it incorporates the postmodern and functional aesthetics characteristic of A+V objects, resulting in practical and expressive decorative pieces.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The Beach Collection by A+V brings the imagery of summer vacation into everyday city life. An inflatable swim ring becomes a leather bag, ice cubes turn into glass tumblers, a sandcastle transforms into a functional art object, and the textiles seem to have absorbed the heat and salty breeze.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

For the first time, we\u2019re working with glass and leather, creating personal accessories such as bags and beach towels. Is packaging just a conventional shell for a gift or purchase? Or is it that special layer that prolongs the fleeting moment of receiving something new? We were inspired by its emotional meaning \u2014 the desire to capture the magic of the moment: a sense of celebration, anticipation, delight, and tender gratitude.\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The collection reflects two \u201cstates\u201d of paper. The wrapped gift<\/span> \u2014 objects that resemble presents never to be unwrapped: permanently fused with their \u201cpaper,\u201d frozen in porcelain and metal. Along with them, the moment of fleeting joy and wonder is also preserved.\u00a0\nThe unwrapped gift<\/span> \u2014 items made of porcelain, metal, and fabric, evoking torn and crumpled wrapping paper, just moments ago covering something long-awaited.
